Help- 1 yr old eating plan!

Ladies ke kopa thuso. My LB is a yr old now n still eats purity and cereals. Is that enough for him , when should I introduce wht I eat 2 him. Also he drinks less milk now that he has changed 2 stage 3. He's not losing weight or something bt Im worried.

not necessarily what you eat coz remember he is still not ready to eat salty food, but at this stage he should be eating mashed vegies even meat

Hi Amanda he should be eating what you guys are eating now. I think you must teach him to each proper food now. He must learn to chew etc. Stop buying purity bottles coz that is processed food and its kanda too soft. Give him finger food so learns to hold and feed himself. ie. When you cooking your veggies before you season leave some chunks . pieces of fruits to dish out for him . At this stage you can even fry eggs for him if there is no history of allegies. But basically he can eat anything at this stage.

Amanda, by looking at his weight, i think he's looking well fed try and give him bits of what you eat, more to develop the chewing movement for speech development, and yes not too much salt at this stage hey!

Give him soft yet firm things to chew on... like steamed baby carrots.. butternut cubes... bananas... he should start slowly eating things like mash and stews, etc... one advice.. keep giving them different things to eat or you eill be in the saem boat i am... my son is 26months but only eats what he wants to which is so limited.. bad eating habits!!!

Amanda my LG will be turning 1 on the 27th and she also still eats purity and cereal. So thanx for the advice ladies will steam some baby carrots for her ans see how it goes. But I'm a bit scared of choking because she only has 2 toofees + she was a premmie

oh you cant leave them alone with the food def.. i saw a thing by snookums for babys to eat with... its a mesh with a handle.. you put the fruit or veg in the mesh part and they hold it and bite/suck through.. am i making sense??

Wow I think I'll get dat angels mom. Thanks ladies, a woman practically called me a bad mother (Kuhle was 8 mnths then) whn she saw me a lot of purities saying its rotten food. I knw if nt as fresh bt I ddnt knw whn 2 start. Bt I told her where 2 get off cos she suggected mince n rice n I ddnt thinkdat was appropriate 4 my baby.

i was in the same boat with my Lb but they taught him food at creche, he can ave feed himself and he is 18months.
