Having a bad hair day!!!!

As most of you guys know that i am taking chemo,i knew that this day would come and now that its finally here i am in shock .Whern i went to the salon to have my hair washed over the weekend,a chunk of it was left in the sink,and i do mean a chunk .Now i have to shop around for a wig,its just so unfair,i feel so ugly and dont want to shave what little hair i have left(ya,ya i know iwill have to eventually ).And i have just gone back to work,they were shocked to see how much i have lost weight now this

Ag sorry Pumpie. Well, maybe look at this as a time to try something new, go wild with your "new hairdo". Just keep positive, girl!

you couldn't have said it better Nqobss...this too shall pass Pumpie! Just coz your hair is falling off, doesn't mean you are ugly! Time will tell whether you want to shave what's left or not! But look in the mirror and you will remember that you are beautiful Pumpie! I pray that the chemo goes well sisi..you are so much loved here!

Gosh.. i had no idea Pumpie... what happened.. when? Hugs to you... As they say, this will pass... There are so many african ladies i see shaved bald and i think it only suits african women!! Somehow, they can pull it off...

Angel's Mom,the other ladies know my story from Pampers,i have Lupus which means i have an overactive immune system.So after the drs tried everything and i did'nt get better(lost my mobilityand sight),went to some specialist who started me on chemo to destroy my immune system so i can develop a new one.And its working well so far,i'm even back at work,but as you probably know chemo has its side effects,i take it every Tuesday and ya tuesdays are not so good for me!! but boy am i glad to be alive!!!!I was at the brink of dying for a while there!!
